16 nov. 2009 8 AM – we gather again as a group of 25 people, everyone anxious to go for the exotic adventure 11 AM – we leave Arad full of optimism laughing in the face of the rain, wind and bad weather knowing we will feel the cold for the last time for the next month 7 PM – Budapest comes with the thrills of the first flight for many of us 10 PM – we arrive near Paris, at the Charles de Gaule airport and we go for Orly airport where we will take the next flight
17 nov. 2009 0 AM – we arrive at the Ibiss Hotel where we stay till the morning flight. Now we can say we no longer dream of Paris but dream in Paris. 11 AM – we board for the long flight for Cayenne, crossing the Atlantic Ocean, changing not just countries but continents 4 PM – we all arrive safely and without any negative events in Cayenne. Everyone enjoyed the flight and entertained themselves with the games, movies or music provided by the flying company or just socialized and cleared some exotic fears by talking with the seat neighbours 4:30 PM – we meet again with Oana and get to know the other leaders of the project, the French team – Sebastian and Beatrice. We also make the first contact with the hot, humid air and the exotic peisage represented by the palm trees, aloe bushes and many other green, leafy plants and trees just outside the airport doors 5 PM – we take the bus for the camping site which is 200 km far from Cayenne, in Awala Yalimapo 9 PM – we finally arrive at the destination point tired after 2 long traveling days but even more anxious for the following exotic adventure.
